One world, one canon.
Every product agrees with the world bible. No retcons, no parallel settings. If it's in Val'Terra, it's true everywhere.
The studio
Gobboco is a small tabletop studio in Jakarta. We write Val'Terra, run the tables, and make the things we wish existed when we started playing.
Why Gobboco exists
Most first D&D nights are a borrowed book, a dry-erase grid, and a DM learning as they go. It can still be magic. But we think the night deserves better: a world with internal logic, an adventure written for the people at the table, and a room that feels like somewhere else.
Gobboco is our attempt to take play seriously — not as a theme, but as craft. One world, one canon, and products that don't contradict each other.
We're two people. We write the world, run the tables, and pack the orders ourselves. That's the constraint and the advantage: nothing ships that we can't stand behind.
What we stand on
We're not a café that happens to have dice. We're a studio that makes play.
Every product agrees with the world bible. No retcons, no parallel settings. If it's in Val'Terra, it's true everywhere.
A module is finished when a stranger can run it, not when the PDF looks good.
Terrain, sound, lighting, pacing. The table is a place, not a default.
Two people, no filler. We ship what we can defend, and we say what isn't ready.
The long game
The long-term plan is a room built for this: a café, a boardgame floor, immersive D&D rooms, and a community floor — somewhere in Gading Serpong or BSD.
We're not announcing a date. We're building the audience first, and we'll only build the room when the numbers say it's earned. Until then: modules, tables, and the world.
Work with us
We're always looking for tables to playtest new material, venues to partner with, and people who make things we can't. If that's you, say hello.
Next step
Five seats, one story, and a night that was built on purpose.
